Mobile charging can be assessed as flexible capacity for fleet bases, temporary routes or operating periods that fixed infrastructure does not yet cover. It is most useful when planned around real parking windows and vehicle priorities, rather than treated as a replacement for dependable depot charging.
Fleet planning checklist
- Record vehicle types, fleet size and typical end-of-shift battery levels.
- Map routes, depot locations and predictable dwell periods.
- Identify the vehicles whose availability matters most to daily operations.
- Check safe access, parking space and connector information at each site.
- Define whether the need is temporary, recurring or part of a hybrid plan.
