How Mobile Charging Supports Temporary Locations and Events

Use cases for exhibitions, projects, temporary fleets and high-demand locations.

Overview

Events, exhibitions and project locations may need charging for a defined period without permanent infrastructure. Mobile charging can be considered only after the organiser clarifies vehicle demand, site access, operating hours and a safe place for vehicles and equipment.

Temporary-site checklist

  • Confirm event dates, daily operating hours and setup or removal windows.
  • Estimate vehicle count, types, arrival pattern and expected charging need.
  • Provide the entry route, parking plan and authorised site contact.
  • Identify venue permissions, crowd controls and emergency access requirements.
  • Agree on a fallback plan if the proposed charging arrangement is unsuitable.

PVG-EV pilot context

PVG-EV is reviewing temporary-location use cases as part of pilot preparation. Acceptance, scheduling and equipment suitability would be considered case by case and cannot be assumed from an enquiry alone.
